At Expovorm, sustainable stand construction takes shape in tangible projects with measurable impact. Recently, we recycled 1,500 kilograms of used exhibition floors, saving 6,465 kilograms of CO₂ and receiving an official Certificate of Sustainability. This demonstrates our commitment to circular material use and measurable contributions to eco-friendly modular stand construction.
Recycling Exhibition Floors: From Brown to Green
After twenty years of intensive use, the brown Forbo exhibition tiles were replaced—not due to wear, but because their appearance no longer met current design expectations. The tiles were returned to Forbo, where they were recycled into new tiles. This closed-loop approach keeps materials in use longer while maintaining stylish, sustainable exhibition stands for our clients.

Vinyl Take-Back Program
In addition to returning the floor tiles directly to Forbo, Expovorm also participates in the Vinyl Take-Back Program by JMT Floorcoverings.

Expovorm had the premiere: we were the first company to join this program and, as mentioned earlier, have already delivered 1,500 kg of flooring—saving 6,465 kg of CO₂.

Onze design afdeling is gespecialiseerd in hergebruik en recycling. Beter voor het milieu en vaak ook kostenbesparend. Een duurzamere wereld hoeft volgens ons geen duurdere wereld te zijn. Samen met onze klanten hergebruiken wij alle onderdelen van onze stands en als hergebruik in de standbouw niet meer mogelijk is dan zoeken wij naar een andere oplossing. Weggooien is zonde en vaak is er nog veel mogelijk.
